The 2026 program illustrates the venue’s international reach: RAIN CITY DRIVE, As It Is, A Wilhelm Scream, Millington and CATCH YOUR BREATH are among the overseas acts scheduled or presented there, alongside Japanese artists such as SABLE HILLS, Crystal Lake, waterweed and SOUTH BLOW. For live events, a separate drink charge is generally required. The venue’s official FAQ specifies ¥600 in cash, paid when the ticket is checked at the entrance. A drink ticket is then issued and can be exchanged at the bar inside the venue. Keeping ¥600 in Japanese yen ready before reaching the entrance is therefore the simplest option. There are no coin lockers, but the venue offers a ¥500 cloak service from the time the doors open. Valuables are not accepted by the cloak service, so important belongings should remain with the visitor. The venue has no smoking area. Under Japan’s revised Health Promotion Act, indoor smoking is restricted, and visitors should follow the venue’s current rules and staff instructions. Photography and recording are determined by each performance rather than by one universal venue policy. Some events explicitly prohibit photography, video and audio recording, while special events may provide designated photography opportunities or artist-specific rules. For example, a 2026 tour at the venue has included a post-show group photography benefit for qualifying ticket holders. Visitors should therefore check the individual event notice and never assume that smartphone photography is permitted during the performance. - Namba Parks and the Nankai railway area: Begin at Namba Parks, directly north of the Namba EKIKAN complex. The commercial complex opened in 2003 on the former Osaka Stadium site and was designed by American architect Jon Jerde. Its terraced architecture and rooftop Parks Garden provide a strong visual contrast to the railway infrastructure surrounding HOLY MOUNTAIN. It is a convenient place for a meal or coffee before a show.
- Nipponbashi Den-Den Town: Walk east from the venue toward Nipponbashi and Den-Den Town, Osaka’s historic electronics and specialist retail district. The area is particularly known for electronics, computers, cameras, electronic components and tools, while its contemporary identity also includes anime, manga, games and figure shops. For visitors interested in music technology, guitars, recording equipment and Japanese pop culture, the neighborhood provides a useful complement to a concert.
- Namba Yasaka Shrine: Visit Namba Yasaka Shrine for a contrasting cultural experience. The shrine is famous for its enormous lion-head-shaped Ema-Den, measuring approximately 12m high, 11m wide and 10m deep. The present shrine buildings date from the postwar period, with the main shrine completed in 1974. Located in a residential neighborhood only a short walk from central Namba, it demonstrates how traditional religious sites remain embedded within one of Osaka’s busiest commercial districts.
