🥤 Drink Fee and Payment Protocols Upon entry to Namba Hatch, all patrons must pay a mandatory drink fee of 600 JPY. While the venue has modernized to accept transportation IC cards (such as Suica or Icoca) at the drink counter, the entrance fee is most efficiently handled with exact cash to prevent delays. Once the fee is paid, you will receive a drink token which can be exchanged for a beverage at the bar located inside the foyer. Note that the bar closes shortly after the performance ends, so it is advisable to secure your drink during the intermission or immediately upon entry.
🚭 Strict No-Smoking Policy In full compliance with the Health Promotion Act revised in 2020, smoking is strictly prohibited inside the auditorium and all public foyers of Namba Hatch. This venue does not provide indoor smoking rooms. For visitors who wish to smoke, the designated areas are located outdoors within the Minatomachi River Place plaza. It is important to note that most performances do not allow re-entry; therefore, smokers should conclude their break before their ticket is scanned at the entrance gates.
